Privacy Policy

VoraClip is built to keep your clipboard on your Mac. This policy explains the little data we handle.

What stays on your Mac

Your clipboard history, images, screenshots, recognized text and settings are stored only on your Mac. We never receive them.

What we receive

• License checks: a random identifier derived from your Mac (not your serial number), its name, the VoraClip version, and your license key and purchase email when you activate.
• Trial: the same Mac identifier and when the trial started, so a trial runs once per Mac.
• Purchases: Paddle, our Merchant of Record, shares your email, name and order details with us so we can issue your license.
• Updates: VoraClip asks our website whether a newer version exists.

Link previews

If link previews are on (Settings → Clipboard), VoraClip fetches the pages of links you copy directly from your Mac to show their titles and images. Turn it off to stop this.

How long we keep it, and your rights

We keep license and purchase records for as long as your license exists and as required for tax law. To see, correct or delete your data, email [email protected].
